A Typical Day in Civil Engineering

Mornings are spent in classrooms studying structural design, estimation, and material science. A significant portion of the afternoon is spent outdoors on the field performing leveling and contouring exercises using surveying instruments. Students also spend time in laboratories testing the strength of concrete and other building materials. They regularly use software to translate field measurements into digital plans, ending the day with survey data entries.
